Our reputation for quality bridal gowns is built on the foundations of our design principles. We design gowns that are timeless and will be loved on your wedding day and beyond.

Each choice we make throughout the design and manufacturing process is carefully considered, with ethical and sustainable practices at the centre.

Our materials are sourced from France, China, Turkey, Spain, Italy, America and Australia. Each material is carefully curated to meet the needs of our brides. At the centre of our decision making is the impact that these fabrications will have on the planet. We are constantly striving to improve our offering.

GRS Certification

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is an international, voluntary, full product standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of recycled input, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions. The primary goal of the GRS is to increase use of recycled materials in products and reduce the harmful social, environmental, and chemical impacts of production.
Within our portfolio we’re so proud to have invented our own fully GRS certified lace and lining as well as transitioning so many elements of our fibre portfolio to eco-friendly options:

  • 67% of the fabrics in our collections are certified
  • 71% of our notions are certified, these include smaller details such as buttons and button loops
  • 50% of our trim is certified

Lumi

Lumi stands as a beacon of sustainable product, with a 100% Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification.

Every stitch and seam adhere to the highest standard of sustainability, embodying the future of bridal design.

By selecting Lumi, brides not only wear an elegant and time-honoured style but also advocate for responsible consumption.

Textiles

We take pride in utilizing 100% recycled threads and linings in our gowns, underscoring our commitment to environmental responsibility.

Through the integration of recycled materials in our production process, we're not only able to minimize our environmental footprint but also ensure the highest quality garments to our customers.

Built-In Shapewear

An innovation in sustainability: Power mesh with 73% recycled content, specially designed for our built-in shapewear.

Our in-house atelier developed this cutting-edge fabric with recycled materials to prioritize both targeted compression and eco-consciousness.

With its blend of recycled materials, our power mesh not only sculpts the silhouette but also contributes to the fashion industry’s waste reduction efforts.

Certification

Within our portfolio we’re so proud to have invented our own fully Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certified lace and lining as well as transitioning so many elements of our fibre portfolio to eco-friendly options:

  • Our occasionwear collection is ethically handcrafted using 95% recycled satin, with each metre made from 7.6 recycled plastic bottles

  • 67% of the fabrics in our collections are OEKO TEX certified, meaning they are free from harmful chemicals

  • 71% of our notions are OEKO TEX certified, these include smaller details such as buttons and button loops

  • 50% of our trim is OEKO TEX certified

Production Guidelines

Our gowns are produced in both Australia and Asia, with facilities that all meet our strict certification guidelines. 100% of our offshore Tier 1 suppliers, our garment manufacturers, are audited and certified by a 3rd party. These audits are assessed against a checklist of three key pillars: labour standards, health and safety and the environment, as well as working closely with the suppliers to develop their business ethics.

We are currently in the process of auditing our Tier 2 suppliers, including our fabric mill and trim suppliers. We don't mass produce and our focus has always been on a "make what you need" approach to manufacturing to prevent waste.

We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and craftsmanship with all our design, quality control and dispatch being carefully managed in-house in Australia.
