Our gowns are all originally designed and developed in our Australian studio.

We don't mass produce and our focus has always been on a "make what you need" approach to manufacturing to prevent waste. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and craftsmanship with all our design, quality control and dispatch being carefully managed in-house in Australia.

Grace x Upparel

UPPAREL is Australia and New Zealand’s most trusted, transparent and traceable textile recover and recycling company. They are B Corp certified, and on a mission to eradicate textile waste globally.

We partner with UPPAREL to ensure that any fabrics scraps or retired samples find new life again through textile recycling, in a fight against textile waste.
In 2023 we diverted 8,911kg of textiles from landfill, as well as prevented 31,190kgs of gases from polluting our atmosphere.

Samples

Every now and then our showroom samples need to be replaced so that we can ensure our brides are trying on the best quality gown possible. Once our samples are retired, we send them to be recycled.

In Australia these samples are sent to UPPAREL to be recycled. In the USA and UK we have these samples shredded to use for solid recovery fuel (SRF) a high yield energy source.

Donations

Sometimes we have left over fabric from a style we no longer produce, or a small quantity that would not produce a full wedding dress.

We donate this fabric to local fashion students to create with.

Packaging

Our packaging is FSC certified. FSC is the leader in sustainable forest management, operating the world’s most rigorous and trusted forest certification system.

In 2021 we transition to compostable plastics, furthering our commitment to sustainability.

Grace x Clean the Sea

Clean the Sea is an organization dedicated to preserving our seas and harbors. They utilize Seabin technology to remove floating plastics as small as 2mm, filtering 600,000L of water daily from oil and surface pollutants. We partner with Clean the Sea through i=Change, with $1 for every order placed donated to support a cause that is close to our hearts.

Each $1 invested into this partnership will remove 1.2kg of plastic & debris from the sea. Between March and April 2024, we raised $1,150, resulting in the removal of 1380kg of plastic and debris from the ocean.
