I wouldn’t change a thing about my wedding day. It was absolutely perfect!
What made you choose to have your wedding in Sun Valley, Idaho?
The property where we had our wedding has been in Slater’s family for 80+ years. His parents also got married there too, so it is a very special and sacred place to us.

What’s your favourite memory from your wedding day?
My favorite memory from my wedding day is simply having all of my favorite people in one place. Dancing the night away and riding the mechanical bull were definitely highlights!
How did you feel wearing Grace Loves Lace on your wedding day? And what made you choose the Verdelle 2.0 gown?
What is the most romantic thing you have done for each other?
There’s too many moments to choose! But one stands out- it was in the beginning of our relationship when we started dating. We were doing long distance at the time, so he secretly left me hundreds of little love notes around my apartment for me to find when he left! I was still finding notes in random places months later haha. It was the sweetest way for him to show how much he cared about me from afar.
How do you celebrate love/ Valentine’s Day now that you’re married?
Slater and I have the same love languages. Quality time is our number one. This Valentine’s Day we will probably get out in the ocean for a surf and spend an active day together :) it’s our favorite way to celebrate our love.

How do you keep the romance in your relationship alive day to day?
Slater and I are always flirting. We are both very goofy and silly, so I think staying playful and doing fun things together can keep romance alive in the day to day. Making time for each other in an intentional way is so important.
What advice would you give to a young couple in their first year of marriage?
Make time for each other. Be good communicators. Be good listeners. Show respect for each other. Be patient and show your partner that you are always putting in an effort for them. Tell them/show them how much you love them as often as possible!
