Saying Yes to the Dress

Jodi had a vision for her dream gownshe wanted to be free-spirited, effortless, and authentic. We asked Jodi how she envisioned herself as a bride. A bride who embraces her own style,'. She visited three of our Grace Loves Lace locations before falling in love with the Nathalia gown in our Venice boutique. "Each experience made me feel so special, confident, and sexy!"

When Jodi tried on Nathalia, she instantly knew. "It was the only dress I cried in when I tried it on." To top it off, the aesthetic of the venue was perfectly suited for Jodi’s dress style. From the lace panels to the ornate freshwater pearl handpiece, Nathalia creates the illusion of structure and perfectly complements the Spanish architecture. Looking at the wedding photos, Jodi’s bridal attire is contemporary yet a work of art.

“May Love and Laughter Light Your Days”

A definite highlight of the wedding was the ceremony, which unfolded on the grand lawn. Nestled along the coastal route, the atmosphere was everything Jodi had hoped for and more. As the ceremony took place, a passenger train known as 'the Coaster' passed by. The officiant, known for his sense of humor, playfully encouraged all the guests to wave at the train as it went by. Laughter filled the air as everyone enthusiastically joined in. The smiles and the laughter brought a true sparkle to their wedding day.

Words of Wisdom

It's important to remember what your wedding day is about. You may have invested so much time and effort into your wedding planning, yet you should not feel like the host.

Your special day is all about you, so Jodi’s advice is to always act like the guest of honor. Amongst other words of wisdom, make sure to enjoy the day, every step of the way. "Relax and have faith that everything will fall into place, the bride shares.
