John & Abbie in the Mila Gown
Abbie was the first Grace bride to secure 'THE ONE' at the grand opening of our Nashville Showroom. Keeping her dress a surprise until she walked down the aisle of the beautiful stone chapel, The Venue of Birchwood in Springhill, Tennessee. Abbie and John celebrated a day of love amongst the 26 acres of gorgeous rolling hills.

Which Grace dress did you wear and how did you know it was 'The One'?
I chose the Mila. I saw it online and knew I had to have it. I loved how classy and romantic it looked. As soon as I tried it on I knew it was the dress. I loved the buttons down the back and the way it fit my body.
Tell us about your experience when you found your dress.
Did you buy your wedding dress online or visit one of our Showrooms?
My experience finding my dress was so special. I was the first bride to shop and buy in the Nashville showroom. I was greeted with champagne and given the opportunity to try on multiple dresses and veils to find what was perfect for me. I only took my mom to shop with me and it was such a special moment for just us. I didn’t let anyone see my dress, except my mom, until the day of the wedding.
What was your first date?
John and I randomly met at a concert in college and decided to go eat after. We talked every day after!

Did you DIY anything?
My husband and I built the floral wall as a photo backdrop. I created and printed all of my signs. I also created all of my flower stands.

I got married at The Venue of Birchwood in Springhill, Tennessee. I chose this venue for the beautiful stone chapel, the large modern reception space, and 26 acres of gorgeous rolling hills. My style romantic and timeless.
The funniest moment on the day was…
The funniest moment was when the reception started a few friends of ours decided to lift us in chairs and pass us around. Our reception was so fun. We had people doing the splits, flips, and breakdancing. We could not stop laughing all night. We had the time of our lives.
Any last advice or words of wisdom that you can share?
I highly recommend buying your gown from Grace Loves Lace! The gowns are comfortable, shopping in the showroom was so fun, and the gowns are gorgeous. Customer service was amazing and quick to respond.
